I love you, I really do, and I even respect (even if I don't fully understand) your desire to keep your cheevos more sacrosanct than the Holy Sepulchre and more pure than the Virgin Mary, but if there is any way of allowing users to switch between "mod" and "cheevo" mode that is more cumbersome, unintuitive and labor intensive, I've yet to hear of it.Tinted rocks are an important part of The Binding of Isaac's ecosystem. Thank BOB I'd copied the entire "Doc" folder rather than just my savegames, or I'd have lost the load order that it had taken me positively AGES to get just right as well, or else I could have started over from square one once I was done with my cheevo-hunting. So I thought "OK, maybe I was a git and accidentally broke my rule number one which is NEVER CHANGE THE ORIGINAL FILES", it could have happened, I'm not perfect, so I verified everything.Īnd so I worked my way through that entire checklist above, I even threw in a sacrificial chicken and stood on my head reciting The Charge of the Light Brigade backwards, in Nepalese, and finally it worked. I can enable Ironman, I can set all gamerules to default, but achievements are still not enabled. No mods, I can get achievements in Ironman, right? Nope. I did exactly that, created a new playset (that's the new thing, in the "old" days it was just unchecking a checkbox), then hit play. I have a number of mods, both from the Workshop and mods I've created/modified myself, then suddenly got the urge to get some achievements, thinking that it would be as easy as in the old CK2 launcher, that is "disable every single mod you have, then play".
